Hey! Welcome to our new website. It's still under construction, but so is our band...so I guess it's all OK.

The Bayou Cats are a Colorado Springs-based Cajun/Zydeco band...WAIT! WHAT? That's right...a Cajun band in Colorado.

Well, actually two of us are transplants (Mike & me)...true-blue Cajuns from the heart of South Louisiana (the city of Crowley, to be exact). We left Louisiana a few years back, but Louisiana has never left our hearts.

We're hoping that this site will be more than just a place for you to keep tabs on the band...we want it to be a place where anyone interested in Cajun and Louisiana culture can connect with other people to learn & share information, and hopefully have some fun, too.

For example, click the "Boards" link at the top of the site to get to some great discussion forums about Cajun life and culture. You can share your favorite Cajun recipes, get recommendations on good Cajun restaurants, learn about the history of Cajun & Zydeco music, and there's even a forum completely in French. Pretty cool!
